Impressive COVID-19 Vaccine Turnout at Pine Heights at Brattleboro Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation where 100% of Residents and 95% of Employees Received the Lifesaving Measure

Pine Heights at Brattleboro Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation, an affiliate of National Health Care Associates (NHCA), celebrates impressive turnout for the COVID-19 vaccine. Over 95% of employees and 100% of residents received the lifesaving vaccination.

The successful rollout marks a monumental milestone in defeating the novel coronavirus that has had a sizeable impact on the nursing home industry.

“I am incredibly proud of our staff for being on board with receiving the vaccine,” said Diane Sullivan, administrator at Pine Heights at Brattleboro Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation. “We spent a lot of time educating our teams to ensure they have all the information needed to make their decision.”

“Our employees’ eagerness to be immunized attests to their unwavering commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment for our residents and families,” said Marvin Ostreicher, president of NHCA, who led employees on Dec. 21 in being among the first to receive the vaccine at the Center’s sister facility, Hebrew Center for Health & Rehabilitation. “We are thrilled by the positive response.”

Pine Heights at Brattleboro Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation partnered with CVS Pharmacy to distribute and administer the vaccine. While inoculation from the virus provides an essential layer of protection, employees at the Center continue to reinforce adherence to safety measures and infection control protocols.
