Pine Heights at Brattleboro Center Nursing & Rehabilitation Achieves Deficiency-Free Annual Survey
(May 11, 2021 – Brattleboro, VT): Pine Heights at Brattleboro Center Nursing & Rehabilitation, an affiliate of National Health Care Associates, announces its achievement of a deficiency-free survey. The annual survey is performed by the Vermont Department of Disabilities, Aging, and Independent Living in accordance with strict guidelines administered by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
During the annual survey process, surveyors arrive to the center unannounced and observe care, procedures and safety measures, as well as check records for compliance to regulations on care including confidentiality, cleanliness, resident rights and quality of services. The survey takes place over several days and includes interviews with residents, residents’ family members and center staff. A deficiency-free survey means that during Pine Height’s most recent state inspection, surveyors found zero deficiencies in care, services or the environment.
“Our staff works hard to deliver the best care and service to our residents and their loved ones. They are family to us and we treat them like it,” said Diane Sullivan, MEd., LNHA, Administrator, Pine Heights at Brattleboro. “This results of this survey are because of our skilled staff and the many measures they take each and every day to deliver high-quality care and service in a comfortable and compassionate environment.”
“We are thrilled for and proud of the team at Pine Heights at Brattleboro team,” said Marvin Ostreicher, president and CEO of National Health Care Associates. “These individuals have the hardest jobs in the world and they put everything they have into making sure our residents receive the care they need. A deficiency-free survey is truly reflective of our mission and standards to serve those through kindness, compassion, service and excellence.”
